How to Make a

Materials needed:
- 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Protractor (a tool for drawing circles of various sizes, but you can use various size plates as well)

Step 1: On the sheet of paper, draw a circle 7-1/2” in diameter. Leave a 1” distance between the outer circle and inner circle. Draw a second circle inside the first about 5-1/2” in diameter.
Step 2: Draw a line through the center of the two circles from top to bottom and a second one from side to side.

Step 3: With scissors cut out each outer “pie wedge” and trim the curved quarter edges created by the two circles you drew.
You now have four wrapper templates. Using your template trace the curved quarters onto paper of your choice. Cut out the shape. Secure the wrapper together with tape.
Decorating Your Mini Wrapper
You've made your cupcake wrapper, but you want to give it a little decorating boost. Below are some ideas you can use to further embellish your wrapper.
Stickers
Purchase small decorative stickers from your local craft store and apply them to the cupcake wrapper in an attractive pattern. Create a fun polka dot design, add a little bling with stick on rhinestones or choose stickers to match the holiday you’re celebrating.
Rubber Stamped Decorations
Have any rubber stamps in your drawer? You can transform the plain surface with exciting colors and patterns. Choose vibrant ink colors or add a little shine with metallic embossing powder
Ribbon Bows
Simple and sweet, add a tiny bow to your mini cupcake wrapper. Tie one yourself using 1/8” ribbon you can pick up at the local craft store or purchase premade bows. A dot of glue is all you need to hold the bow in place.
Small Silk or Paper Flowers
Flowers are great for just about any occasion so why not add one to your cupcake wrapper. Choose a bloom from an inexpensive bouquet of flowers or use a paper flower which you can easily find in the scrapbooking section of your local craft store.
