Cupcake Topper Tips:
You can vary the look of your picks by changing the paper punch. The scalloped punch creates a fun and attractive design. Using different size punches creates different looks according to your theme. Also, using a cardstock type of scrapbook paper works the best and allows the pick to hold up a bit better. For the stickers, you can use any variety but the layered 3-D type stickers give a great effect!

Fun Pinwheel Cupcake Topper
Materials needed:
- Scrapbook paper in solid or pattern
- Small or mini scrap book brads (paper fasteners)
- Small lollipop sticks
Supplies needed:
- Pencil and Ruler
- Scissors
- 1/8" hole punch
- Low-temp Glue Gun
Directions:
Step 1: Cut out a 2-1/4” x 2-1/4” square from the scrap book paper.
Step 2: With a ruler, draw a line diagonally from the top left corner of your square to the bottom, right. Then draw a second line from the top right corner of your square to the bottom left.
Step 3: With your scissors, cut along the lines you drew but stop 1/4" from the center.
Step 4: You now have four triangles. Punch a hole with the 1/8" hole punch in the right bottom corner of each triangle. Punch a final hold in the center of the paper (where the "X" you drew, meets).
Step 5: Take that right bottom corner of each triangle and fold it over to the center. Insert the scrapbook brad through all the holes you punched and through the center of the folded over square. Open the brad on the back to secure all pieces in place.
Step 6: Using the glue gun, put a small drop of glue on the back of the pinwheel and attach to the lollipop stick.
