Cupcake Tip #1:
Did you know you can bake your cupcakes ahead of time and freeze them? And almost any of the cupcake recipes you come across will work. If stored properly, cupcakes can keep up to three months.
Cupcake Tip #2:
How do you make your cupcakes all the same size? It's controlled by the batter, of course. Professionals and efficient cupcake artists use a scoop. You can use an ice cream scoop, an appropriate sized measuring cup or even a ladle, whatever works best!
Cupcake Tip #3:
Cupcake Tip: Most cupcake recipes can make 20 -24 standard size cupcakes. How do you know if you have a standard size cupcake pan? Flip the pan over, the bottom should measure about 2" wide. The opening of your cupcake well should be around 2-1/2" wide.
How to Bake "Heart-Shaped" Cupcakes
In the need for some heart-shaped cupcakes but you don't have a heart-shaped pan? No worries! You can bake your own simply and easiliy! Check out the directions below.
Tools and Supplies:
Chocolate Cupcake Batter
Cupcake Pan or Tin
Step 1: Make your favorite cupcake recipe. Place cupcake liners in your cupcake tins. Fill cupcake tins half full with batter.
Step 2: Place a marble inside the cupcake tin outside the cupcake liner.
Step 3: Finish filling the cupcake liner with batter (about 2/3 full). Bake as usual. Cool and frost.
